Rimmel Lipstick - Lily Extase

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick - Lily Extase - Boots/Asos - £6.29

The hottest, hot pink from the drugstore! Claims to be moisturising and hydrating whilst providing long lasting, vibrant colour! Does it live up to these claims? Almost ;)

Packaging: Shiny, purple, rectangular 'box' with a cute crown on the top of the lid - love the packaging it is soo nice and the colour makes it extremely easy to find! Can't fault it - it's pretty looking, sturdy and stands up perfectly on my dressing table!

Colour: Such a gorgeous, bright, fuchsia pink! Some say it is a cheaper alternative to MAC's 'Girl About Town' (although i don't have that to compare) - what's not to love? Lily Extase is more of a cool toned bright pink and i think it would look great on pretty much all skintones as it isn't too light - just very, very bright!

Consistency: As the range 'Moisture Renew' suggests, these lipsticks are pretty smooth and moisturising to apply - no tugging or dragging - although i can't say it is the most moisturising lipstick i own, it does eventually settle into the lines of your lips. I always reccomend exfoliating and applying lipbalm before applying any lipstick!

Length of wear: This lasts a good 4 hours before fading (nice and evenly) to look like a bright, pink lip stain - and that was including eating and drinking. So, this lipstick is definitely high-end in terms of it's lasting length. So it's very good value for girls who don't like to top up every two seconds!

Flash.                                                                          No flash.
Top row - Flash. Bottom Row - No flash.

Overall i love, love, love this lippy! Especially for those nights (and days) when you want to make a statement! Best for girls on a budget who want a bright, pop of colour...
