London Trip - Three days, three outfits!

I realise i haven't posted any fashion/outfit posts in a while. I always run out of time, forget to take the pictures or have slopped food down me before i have chance! This really is story of my life. I have so many outfits i want to share with you so hopefully you will be bombarded with those soon...

You'll all probably know from my haul but, the boyfriend and i took a three day trip to London -shopping, a little sight-seeing and lots of eating out. I decided to put all three outfits in one post like a little 'look book'.

DAY 1.
The first day was our 'sight seeing' day - we went on the London Eye, did the London Dungeons had a wonder down the Thames and basically wandered everywhere!

Dress - H&M
Parka - New Look
Necklace - Primark

DAY 2
This day was our 'shopping day' - we had a huge walk down Oxford Street then to Harrods (talk about tiring) and had to get a cab back to the hotel in fear of our legs collapsing aha! We then went to see 'We Will Rock You' at the theatre which was amazing - by far the best show i've ever seen. Here is what i wore to the theatre, in the day i wore my Topshop Leigh jeans instead.

Peplum Top - H&M (also worn here)
Blazer - Primark
Leather Jacket - Zara
Disco Pants Dupe - Very - Love Label
Heeled Chelsea Boots - River Island
Necklace - Primark

DAY 3
Unfortunately this was our last day in London which meant we had a quick run around Covent Garden and Oxford Street to get a final few bits before checking out of our hotel and making our way to Camden. Suitcases in hand. Oh god, it was awful - rain, suitcases & markets = disaster. It wasn't fun atall :( We ended up sat in Costa Coffee for hours with a huge latte and brownies to pass time.

Dress - Topshop (also worn here)
Necklace - Topman
Parka - New Look
Tights, Umbrella and Shoes - Primark

Well there we are, three days, three outfits! I must admit those Primark dollies are the most uncomfiest shoes i have ever wore in my entire life. They are now safely thrown into the bin.
We had a great time in London - despite getting lost a few times but, we got the hang of it by the time we were going home ;)

OOTN: Dipped Hems & Florals!

Hello all, thought i'd share an outfit with you today as i don't do that very often - mainly because of time and space. I am forever late/rushing everywhere so trying to take pictures never works and i also have no plain backdrops in my house to take a decent picture! Such a dilemma and setting up my tripod is a pain :( Anyway, enough moaning, onto the outfit..

Here's a nice little outake for you - not all pictures look like the onces above hahaa. God knows what i was saying!

Skirt - Primark
Top - Miss Selfridge (few seasons old)
Dolly Shoes - Primark
Necklace - Topman

I wore this to a house party on saturday so dolly shoes we're definitely needed to stay comfortable and not look overdressed although i think a nice pair of heels would have looked amazing too!
Anyway, hope you like the outfit, i love this skirt from Primark it's so affordable! They also do it in black - which my friend was actually wearing. The dipped hem adds a nice twist to a rather plain skirt which is so versatile by the way. I think it was something like £8 which is much cheaper than like the likes of Topshop or River Island and the material is actually such good quality - it does not crease!!

So i hope you all had a lovely weekend, did you get up to anything much? And i'll also be sharing my makeup for this night next in case you're interested!

Outift: Mint Green Dream..

So i'm sure you've all heard of Drake and know who he is, right?! Me and my friend were lucky enough to get tickets about two weeks before and we had an amazing night. Drake's so passionate about what he does. Here's a few photo's if you're interested:

Anyway, enough of Drake, here's what i wore...

The dress is from Desire - i bought it from the shop but it's available here online! I'd been craving something mint green for a while and i've been loving the asymmetrical trend - so i fell in love with this dress as soon as i set eyes on it! They also do it in a pretty coral/pink colour too. And the cute bow belt comes with it - although you can change it if you like! My one fault is the thin material - you could completely see the slogan (Wanna sleepover?) on my knickers through the dress when i tried it on - so  nude underwear was a must!

I teamed it with some brown platforms which just elongated my legs. They're gorgeous but deadly - i fell on my arse basically - sooo embarrassing! They were limited edition from Miss Selfridge, so sorry guys, they're no longer available ;)

So thats it really - i kept it simple as i didn't want to take any attention away from the dress, as the title suggests, to me, it's a 'mint green dream'!

Sheer shirts, denim shorts and sunny days!

If you live in the UK you'll probably know we've had a bit of a heat wave (compared to the usual British weather anyway) and it's rather hot and sunny! I'm not complaining it's just how i like it - why can't it be like this all year?! So making the most of this beautiful weather, me and my boyfriend just sat cosily on a field chatting and cuddling and this is what i wore...  casual yet perfect for the sunny weather...

I have to take a cardigan or jacket out - always! It's my safety blanket, just in case, you never know with the British weather! A good cardigan always comes in handy ;)

I also wore a LOT less makeup (just a tiny bit of concealer and foundation and mascara of course) in the hope my face would get a bit of a tan - no luck so far though unfortunately!

Excuse my poorly finger :( It's look horrid but i need it out to heal asap!

Shirt - Primark
Cardigan - Newlook
Shorts - Topshop (love these things - well worth the pricetag!)
Dolly ballet pumps - Miss Selfridge
Bag - Marc B @ Toppshop
Necklace & Cross ring - bohoboho.com
Bracelets - Afflecks palace (jesus/religious bracelet), Topshop (brown beads) and Juicy Couture perfume bottle (blue tassle)
