My Everyday On-the-go Essentials!

Hello! You know how it is, those days when you're out all day with a huge, full (and heavy) bag with barely anytime to relax. Or is that just me? I always seem to try and pack everything into bag just in case. You can never be too prepared! Like today, i was so organised and took an umbrella with me for it to be hot and sunny -.- I was not happy. The only time i take a brolly out!

So yeah, today i thought i'd show you my everyday beauty essentials so you still have everything you need to keep yourself looking beautiful but it won't take up loads of space in your bag!

Bobby pins, slides, clips, whatever you call them are so handy to keep with you! You can get them from any supermarket or drugstore for so cheap (mine are from b&m) and they're great for getting hair away from your face, clipping hair back and taming stray pieces. And obviously a bobble incase of a hair nightmare a.k.a. wind and rain!

Mac blot powder! For me this a total must as i have oily skin, it just gets rid of shine so easily and keeps it at bay for a little longer (my little miractle product). And i just think powders are great for everyone to keep foundation lasting all day long and touching up throughout the day. So any you like will do. I love this especially because it has a mirror, so no need for an extra mirror! My little kabuki brush from Bourjois comes in so handy as it's so little and fits in the pocket in y
our bag, perfect for applying the powder or blending in foundation/concealer and sometimes buffing in bronzer if needs be. It's so cute too and really dense.

Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer is for me just a smaller, easier way of carrying foundation. I use this to top up any area's where foundation may have come off to keep me looking fresh.

LIPSTICK! Now i know all you bbloggers are with me on this one. I normally have a few with me to be honest but Revlon lip butters are ones i like to definitely have on me. So nourishing and moistursing yet add colour at the same time.

Last but not least, moisturiser. Is something i like to keep on hand for dry hands, legs, any little area's on the face. Flakey skin isn't something i like. So something like Nivea is good as you can use it everywhere!

What are your everyday essentials you keep in your bag? Anything i missed out?

Empty Beauty Products #2

Hello! More empties to show you today, it's been quite a while since my last one but i don't go through that fast really (as much as i try to). I really wanted to use up as much as i could before i went on holiday so i could get lots of new beauty products there and here is what i used up..
Photobucket
Rose of Bulgaria Nourishing Hair Mask - Absolutely adore this! It smells lovely (like roses) and really hydrates my hair leaving it feeling smooth, tangle free and soft. I use this in-between shampoo and conditioner every single time i wash my hair as it really makes such a difference!
Would i repurchase? Yes, i just bought a new one from my holiday in Bulgaria.

Refan Melon & Apricot Hand Cream - What can i say, i can't praise this hand cream enough. It's my holy grail, favourite hand cream ever! It's like a butter so it's thick and so moisturising but isn't greasy. LOVE IT!
Would i repurchase? Yes! I have just bought two more on my holiday to keep me going.

Morrisons Glorious Colour Conditioner - Bit of a boring one but i absolutely adore it so i needed to share. It's such a cheap conditoner but works so amzing well to keep hair soft, shiny and hydrated. I can instantly feel the difference in my hair after using this. Hello glossy locks!
Would i repurchase? Yes i will keep on purchasing it.

Percy & Reed Totally TLC Hydrating Mask - Aah i think most of us picked this up when it came free with Glamour a few months ago. I've only just got round to using it as i've been using the other hair mask above. I like this product, it leaves hair soft, smooth and tangle free but i find you need to use lots of product for it to really work so it empties really fast.
Will i repurchase? No, it's not worth the price-tag as it goes so fast and my Rose of Bulgaria face mask is cheaper and works better.

Refan Mango Exfoliant - Love this. It smells like heaven in a tub and does a great job at exfoliating the skin making me feel as smooth as a babies bottom. It's not too harsh but does the job!
Would i repurchase? Yes i have just bought another on holiday in a different smell :)

Nivea Soft Cream - I used to really love this moisturiser and have been through a few tubs. But, i'm just not loving it anymore. I find it way to thick for my face and prefer to use other moisturisers that smell nice on my body. My boyfriend really likes this though for himself. So a good product for a couple to share ;)
Would i repurchase? No, i prefer other moisturisers!

Lacura Aqua-Complete Serum - I have done a review on this here. Basically i really enjoy this moisturiser and does the job, smells lovely and is really cheap. It's great for the face and you only need the tiniest bit. I can't get the last of the product out the pump though!
Would i repurchase? Yes, i already have. I have a new bottle ready and waiting.

Asda Skin System Vitamin E Toner - I don't like this product i think it definitely breaks me out. It's way to harsh for everyday use (although is good for when you want a deep clean) and my skin isn't sensitive in the slightest so it must be harsh!
Will i repurchase? No, never.

Lush Breath of Fresh Air Toner - Finally used the remainder of this up. I adore this toner so much, it does a fab job of making sure the skin is really clean without being too harsh and stripping the skin. It smells nice, the spray bottle is great and it's great for toning/refreshing!
Will i repurchase? Probably at somepoint in the future. Trying others for now.

Simple Refreshing Face Wash & Simple Soothing Toner - These two products are like pea's in a pod. They work fab together and giving the skin a really good clean, keeping dirt at bay and preventing spots/blackheads. Great combo and they are also very gentle which is good!
Will i repurchase? I have already got the full size bottles, yes.

MUA Bronzer 'Shade 1' - I cheated slightly on this, it's not completely gone, oops. But i'll only get 2/3 more uses out of it. It's a really good bronzer for £1. It's quite orange and contains a bit of shimmer  but that's great for giving the skin a lovely sun-kissed glow. It takes a bit of building up on my skin-tone but nevertheless it lasts a long time on the skin and looks lovely.
Will i repurchase? No, i prefer their new Bronzed Perfection or the 'Shade 3'.

Hollister Crescent Bay Body Mist - I love body mists for summer and this is no exeption. This smells so delicious really bright, fruity and fresh. So sweet. Unfortunately most of this leaked in my box so most of it was gone :( But i loved what i had left of it.
Will i repurchase? Yes, it smells so gorgeous and summery!

MaxFactor False Lash Effect Fusion - Let's keep this short: This is one of my favourite mascara's ever, it adds both length and volume making the lashes look amazing! It lasts all day, no smudging and has a nice size brush so you can get all the little corners. Perfect.
Will i repurchase? Yes when i've used all the others lingering in my stash!

Wow, long post i know! Thanks for sticking with me.
Have you used any of these products? What do you think?

Mini Travel Skin Care & Rio Sonicleanse First Impressions!

Hello! I thought i'd show you a little, mini skincare routine i've been using for just over the past two weeks. I shown you my old skincare routine here and it was good, it just wasn't fantastic. I thought my little three day trip to London would be perfect to try some new things and i'm still going..
The Simple items were 3 for 2 from Tesco's range of mini's, the Balance Me moisturiser came free with  Glamour magazine and the Nivea lip balm is just available from Boots. They're all small so great for travelling and trying before purchasing the full size.

I was surprised by the Simple face wash and toner - i absolutely love them both. The cleanser has done a fantastic job of keeping my skin squeaky clean and keeping spots at bay. It's pretty good at removing makeup and doesn't sting the eyes at all (which i love!). The toner accompanies the face wash perfectly removing any excess grime/cleanser and preparing the skin for moisturiser. This combo has worked brilliantly helping to balance my combination skin and keeping it really clean! The Simple eye make-up remover is no surprise to me - i already have the full size version! You just cover a cotton pad with it, hold it against the eye and wipe. It does a good job at removing eye makeup gently without stinging the eyes or making them go blurry!
The Balance Me 'Balancing face moisturiser' is a product that has grown on me. It's a little different than my usual moisturisers - it's thicker and harder to rub in - but does the job nonetheless. I find this is best applied straight after washing and toning when the skins still damp and it rubs in much easier. However, the results are worth it, it does a great job of balancing the skin. It moisturisers both the oily and dry area's of my face without being too much and leaves skin feeling moisturised but matte - great base for makeup!
The Nivea Hydro Care Lipbalm i just got in a little set. It does a good job of keeping lips very smooth and plump. It's good but isn't amazing - i still prefer Carmex. I find it's best applied liberally at night!

Now you're probably wondering why i'm including the Rio Sonicleanse is this post? Well, i've been using this for the past 9 days with the skincare routine i've talking about above. I apply my Simple face wash all over the face (wet), give it a little rub in then let this little machine do it's magic!

I have been loving my sonicleanse - it just nine days i've already gone through a purging stage (although they have cleared up pretty well) and my skin is feeling so smooth (like a babies bottom). The overall texture of my skin is much nicer, even and smoother. I haven't really noticed a difference in pore size yet but i know my skin feels much cleaner when i have used this. So far, so good i can't wait to see more results. Do i recommend it? Yes it's a much more affordable version of the Clarisonic and does the same job as far as i know?.. It's available here and here. I will do a more indepth review when i have given it a longer test run.

Have you tried any of this products? What do you think?
